Terms

Who we are
These terms cover orders placed on this website with Mena's Pizzeria and Coffee House Ltd, trading as Fuel Strong Project, 119 Spencer Road, Derry, BT47 6AE. We call ourselves “we” or “us” below.
Ordering
- Orders open on Friday at 12pm and close on Sunday at 6pm, for delivery or collection the following Tuesday and Friday.
- Your order is accepted when you get our confirmation email. We cook a set number of meals each week, so we may close orders early when we're full.
- You can change, skip or cancel an order in your account until the Sunday 6pm cut-off. After that we've bought and prepared your food, so it can't be changed or cancelled.
- Menus change weekly. With “let the chef choose”, we pick meals for you that avoid the allergies on your account.
Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in pounds and include everything except delivery. Delivery is £2.50 per delivery day. Collection is free.
- You can pay by card when you order, or by cash on your first delivery or collection day. If cash isn't paid we may ask for card payment on future orders.
- One discount code per order. Offers for everyone in a given week don't add to a code: you get whichever saves you more.
Weekly orders
If you set up a weekly order, we place it for you each Friday when orders open and charge or confirm it the same way as a normal order. You can change, pause or stop it in your account at any time before the cut-off.
Delivery and collection
- We deliver in Derry city and the Waterside on Tuesdays and Fridays, usually between 11am and 3pm. We'll text you when your delivery leaves the kitchen.
- Please make sure someone can take the food in, or tell us where to leave it safely in your delivery notes. Food left where you asked is your responsibility once delivered.
- Collections are from 119 Spencer Road, Derry, BT47 6AE. If food isn't collected on the day, we can't refund it.
Your food
- Keep meals in the fridge and eat them by the date on the label. Reheat until piping hot.
- Every meal shows its ingredients and allergens. Our kitchen handles all 14 major allergens, so we can't promise any meal is free from traces. If you have a serious allergy, please talk to us before ordering.
- Calories and macros are worked out from our recipes and are a guide, not exact figures. The calorie calculator is general guidance, not medical advice.
If something's wrong
If anything is missing, damaged or not right, tell us the same day with a photo if you can, and we'll replace it or refund it. Because our meals are fresh, perishable food made to order, the usual 14-day right to cancel doesn't apply once the cut-off has passed. This doesn't affect your other legal rights.
Points and rewards
- You earn 1 point for every whole £1 you spend on food (not delivery). 100 points take £5.00 off an order; you can also swap points for the rewards shown at checkout. One reward per order.
- Points have no cash value and can't be transferred. Points can be earned and used until 31 Dec 2026. If an order is cancelled or refunded, the points it earned or used are adjusted.
- Refer a friend: your friend gets £5.00 off their first order with your code, and you get 100 points once they've ordered. Not for orders you place for yourself.
- We may change or end the points scheme with notice on this page. Points you've earned will stay usable for at least 30 days after any change.
Your account
Keep your password private. We can close accounts that misuse offers or the website. Our privacy notice explains how we use your details.
The legal bit
We're responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care, but not for business losses. Nothing here limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland can deal with any dispute.
